Robert O’Dell
Every journey starts with a first step. Robert (Bob) O'Dell's journey began in the Garden State, born in Trenton, NJ with his early years rooted in Montclair. After almost two decades, Bob took his talents down the Turnpike and to the lush campus of Villanova University (PA), where he earned a BA in Economics. Since then, Bob has honed his expertise in financial planning and investment management - experience he now brings to the board of Pancakes For Roger.
It's obvious from Bob’s professional career that planning for today and tomorrow is in his DNA, which makes him an ideal fit for PFR. To make the impact we want on the lives of veterans and their communities requires prudent financial decisions, both in terms of generating donations/revenue and dispersing proceeds to the multitude of worthy endeavors, and Bob’s expertise, energy, and demeanor are primed to make that happen.
Now you would think the O’Dell would mean corn beef and cabbage, but for Bob, it was grandma’s traditional Italian Sunday meals that did it for him. Those cooking and baking talents were passed down to Bob’s mom and then to him. These delicious creations come with consequences, so Bob also built the discipline to run/lift/workout to offset said caloric consequences. Bob and his wife (a force of nature in her own right) just welcomed their first child (a girl) in early 2025; they’re loving every minute. And when he’s not in the kitchen, gym, or hanging with his daughter, you’ll find him engrossed in some lengthy book series (e.g., Penn Cage, Terminal List, Gray Man).
