Kirk Schlotzhauer
Semper Fidelis… always faithful. It’s fitting the Marine Corps motto seems to be Kirk Schlotzhauer’s life mantra. Having spent 21 years in service to his country (retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel), Kirk has spent the past 10+ years working to improve local and national education institutions. He taps the expertise he developed in military and private-business settings to put schools and organizations on better leadership footing. It’s this ability to organize that makes Kirk a perfect fit for the Pancakes For Roger board.
Few were there to “witness” Kirk’s arrival in Lancaster, PA, but he’s made his presence known ever since. The Marines are just a part of his impressive resume; he earned an MBA from Drexel University, he’s started multiple companies, raised three kids with his wife, and now proudly wears the title G-Pop (but just for his granddaughter). We fully expect Kirk’s energy and capabilities will drive PFR to reach higher and higher goals.
Kirk has traded in the four seasons of PA for the balmy breezes of FL, where he enjoys the great outdoors, a good Delmonico steak on the grill, and consuming Clemson football games and good books. His veteran-focused efforts also include serving as VP of the Clearwater Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (say that three times fast).
