Pancakes for Roger, Inc. is a New York-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit created to honor the life and legacy of Major General Roger E. Combs—a decorated military leader, public servant, and mentor.

Our mission is simple and powerful:
Creating pathways to improve the lives of Veterans and their communities.

Through strategic partnerships and targeted support, Pancakes for Roger funds Veteran-focused organizations and initiatives that deliver real impact. What began as a tribute has grown into a purpose-driven movement grounded in the values Gen. Combs lived by—honor, humility, integrity, service, and resilience.

We are currently seeking passionate, values-driven individuals to join our Board of Directors and help guide the next chapter of our growth.

As a Board Member, You Will:

• Help shape and refine the strategic direction of the organization

• Serve as an ambassador of our mission and message

• Support fundraising, development, and community engagement

• Collaborate with fellow leaders to grow partnerships and outreach

• Ensure Major General Combs’ legacy continues to uplift and empower Veterans and their communities

You Might Be a Fit If You:

• Are passionate about Veteran causes, leadership, and giving back

• Have experience in nonprofit leadership, business, education, military service, or community development

• Are energized by building something meaningful, rooted in service

• Believe in the power of story, the strength of grit, and the importance of lifting others up
