Cyan Sattin
Peripatetic is a great word and there may be few humans who embody the definition (dictionary & colloquial) like Cyan Sattin. Born in Hammersmith, UK (West London), Cyan then spent years living in the Philippines, Hong Kong, and all over the United States; she’s close with her half- and step-siblings; she’s an expert in the complex health insurance world and co-founder of a new nonprofit. Now for the cherry on top – she’s joined Pancakes For Roger as a board member (June 2025).
Cyan’s professional career and personal life has been built around caring (check out her LinkedIn profile if you don’t believe us). It was this empathetic drive that attracted her to PFR’s veterans-focused mission and her ability to follow through with tangible results is what led us to offer her a board position. It’s a match we think will benefit both the organization and our recipients/partners.
Cyan has finally settled down a bit in Georgia, where she is a devoted mom to both her daughter and three cats. Her global life has influenced her taste in food (she favors Filipino), music (she’s equally east & west [Biggie & 2Pac]), movies (“The Usual Suspects” to “The Lion King”), and books (The Tao of Pooh to The Art of War), while her architecture background is seen in her daily hobbies: painting, sewing, paper art.
